Headwaters Trails is in the process of adding a new fence and bioswale at the Fishlake Rd paddling launch. The split rail fence was installed and soil was turned on Sunday 10/22. The Blue Heron Headwaters Conservancy team will finish cultivating the bioswale bed and plant native plants. The bioswale will help to keep salty road water from washing into the Shiawassee River. Thanks to Chuck Julian, Sue Julian, Rex Mathewson, Jannell Tillman, Dave and Bob Waddell for their hard work on Sunday.
