🌲 Conservation Efforts:
By participating in The Adventure Paddle, you’re supporting Headwaters Trails, a non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining river access, clearing logs and debris, and preserving the river’s banks and habitat. Our unique approach allows us to open the river for boats while leaving the majority of wood in the water to protect the ecosystem.
🌳 Assisted Navigation:
Our dedicated team will be there to ensure your journey goes smoothly. We have friendly helpers stationed at the railroad tubes to assist you, and if desired, we have a person available to guide you around the Academy Foot Bridge. At Strom Park, we’ll have enthusiastic volunteers ready to help you disembark.
🎉 Special Milestone:
As you paddle along, celebrate with us the grand opening of the new Fish Lake Road Launch! This launch, made possible by the generous contributions from members, individual donations, and grants, is a testament to our collective commitment to preserving and expanding access to our natural trails.
* Free for Headwaters Trails members
* $10.00 for non-members
* Optional $5.00 fee for car transportation from Strom Park to Water
