We’re gearing up to get back on the river for the annual Shiawassee River Cleanup. We need your help to clear blockages and remove debris so that everyone can enjoy paddling on your river.

The spring cleanup is planned for May 17 & 18, 2025. We need all the help we can get.
We’ll be cutting deadfall, removing blockages and picking up any litter that we find. You don’t have to run a chainsaw and you don’t necessarily need your own boat. We can work to pair you up in someone else’s craft. Crews will gather in the morning. Shuttles will pick you up at your intended take out point and then embark for a day of work on the river. Bring a bag lunch and we’ll have some food and beverages at the end of the day.
